Attempt House Burglary - Near You - Milligan Avenue, Bolton and Undercliffe, BD2

Dear Resident,

Residents are asked to be alert following an attempted burglary reported in the area.

Between 22:20 on Friday 9 May 2026 and 08:00 on Saturday 10 May 2026, unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry to a property. The handle of a side door was broken, and the suspect(s) attempted to snap the lock. No entry was gained, and the suspect(s) left the area empty‑handed in an unknown direction.

Advice to Residents:

Ensure doors, windows, and locks are secure

Check for any signs of damage or tampering

Keep outside areas well lit where possible

Do not confront suspicious individuals

Report suspicious activity to West Yorkshire Police on 101

Dial 999 if a crime is in progress or there is immediate danger
